It has been a while, since our last show, due to more dental problems and lots of painting! The kids and I finally got time to sit down and review the movie “WALL-E.” We all enjoyed this show, and beware, there are SPOILERS for the movie.
My husband John explains the board game “Pandemic,” with commentary from my daughter Amanda.
I am having wisdom teeth removed tomorrow, so it will be about 2 weeks until the next episode. School starts here in early August, so then I will be able to get back on a regular schedule.
Thanks to Darcy Low for all of the great book and movie reviews up on the blog!
Thanks so much for listening!

from the back of the book:
Possessing an awesome power he is only beginning to understand, young Jair Ohmsford must summon the devastating, yet darkly seductive magic of the wishsong on a fateful mission to save his friends….and prtect the future from the forces of evil.
if you never ventured into the wonderous world of Shannarra, consider this an ideal opportunity.Prepare to enter the breathtaking realm of the Four Lands, where beings both noble and sinister have quested and clashed; crossed swords in the names of darkness and light. And engaged in adventures rich with mystery and majesty.
This a brand new GRAPHIC NOVEL of Shannara. Yeps a graphic novel this time. Read more… »

A movie review by Darcy Low.
Last night we watched this really funny animated movie called, Wally and gromit in the wrong trousers. And it was really good. it was all made with clay figures, almost looked like play dough.
Wally is a human inventor, who loves cheese and comes up with really crazy inventions. he’s got them all over his house, and for everything you can imagine. even his bed in hooked up and when he wakes up he just presses a button and his dog cooks him breakfast. We will get to gromit in a minute, more on wally. he is always coming up with new inventions to make life easier for he and his dog and i think for anyone really. he tries hard but sometimes things don’t go the way he wanted. and he is what dad calls self absorbed, that means he loves his dog, but he doesn’t always pay attention to him. and he really should, because gromit is a VERY smart dog. hehe.

Hi everyone!
Today, I am aided by my daughter Amanda and my son Kevin, who wanted to discuss some of their favorite things, new and old. We discuss Kung Fu Panda, the Spore Creature Creator, Portal, Star Wars Galactic Hero figures, iCarly, The Wizards of Waverly Place and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Big thanks and hugs to Darcy Low, who has kept us going with content on the web page during my break. Please check out her book and movie reviews! We love you Darcy!
Thanks so much to all of you for hanging in there and waiting on me! Between being sick, painting the basement (which didn’t help my being sick) and going out of town, it has been a busy month of June! We plan to be back on schedule now, and hope you are still liking us. Let us know what you want to hear! You can also send us your family-friendly reviews, just like Darcy!
