Hi,

I met you at the What the Cast panel at Dragoncon (I was dressed as Jessica Rabbit). I'd like to subscribe to your blog, but I don't use any of the software mention--I just want to get the rss feed in my LiveJournal friends page. Is there a way to do that?

Schools are not the only places to be involved in kid's lives. As an uncle to 2-4(depending on who you ask), I find that I can influence my(biological) niece and nephew's lives, and even education farther on.

I also volunteer with the Salvation Army and, among other things, help with their kids program. Right now I am working on getting a computer together so that the kids can have access to a computer for homework and educational games. It may not end up being as good as other people's machines, but it's better than nothing.

The books are really good! So good in fact that they are making them into live action/adventure movies! I know what your thinking movies are never good as the books they are based on but I believe this movie could be! Based on the trailer I’ve seen I think the imagery from the novel stays true to form dark and ominous with the apocalypse looming just ahead. Plus Bill Murray is playing Mayor Cole, he always brings characters to life like no one could ever have imagined.

My name is Blair and I am an official ambassador for City of Ember and I have access to first-look pics of the movie not seen in the trailer, which I would be more than happy to share with you. I would love to have your help spreading the word about City of Ember and get the buzz going!

I hope I’m not over stepping any bounds by posting on your blog.
Hope to speak with you soon.

Best,
Blair Landon

You call yourself a geek and that's your list? Where's the original "Flubber?" "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes?" And more importantly, where in the wide, wide, world of sports is "The Black Hole?"
